"Not going back after being promised help"
I stopped by to ask about getting my bike repaired, and it felt like I was just annoying them by being there. They made it sound like someone would take a look and explain the costs, but that never really happened. Prices were vague, the staff seemed irritated, and I left without any actual help. Frustrating when you’re told one thing and then basically brushed off.

I reached out to tech support about my issue. Then again. Both times, pretty much nothing. Felt like they just ignored it and moved on.

I tried reaching out to GearHub a few times about my order and basically got radio silence. No real update, no useful response, just me sitting around waiting. It’s annoying when all you need is a simple answer. i wouldn’t order from them again if this is how their customer service is

I went in with a few basic questions about the gear because the website made it sound like one thing, but I wanted to double-check in person. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t really seem to know much and couldn’t give clear answers. It just left me more confused than when I came in.

"Shipping has been really slow"
I ordered this a while ago and the shipping has been frustrating. It’s been over a week and I still haven’t really gotten an update, so I’m not sure if it’s stuck somewhere or what’s going on. Just kind of annoying waiting with no info.

"Tune-up didn’t quite work out"
I brought my bike in for a basic tune-up and a small repair, and while the people there seemed nice enough, the experience was kind of disappointing. It was finished later than they originally said, and when I got it back, the shifting was still rough. I ended up taking it to another shop to get it sorted out. Communication could’ve been better too, so I probably won’t go back.

"Site used to be easier to shop on"
I tried shopping on gearhub.ca again, but the site feels like it’s gotten worse. It used to be straightforward, but this time pages were loading slowly and the filters weren’t working properly. I kept trying to narrow things down and still couldn’t find what I wanted without getting annoyed. Ended up giving up before I even made it to checkout

"Not much to choose from"
I went on gearhub.ca hoping I could browse around and compare a few different gear options, but I was kind of surprised by how limited the selection felt. A lot of the items I had in mind either weren’t listed at all, or there were only one or two choices to pick from.

It might be fine if you’re just looking for something basic and don’t care too much about brands or sizes, but it didn’t really work for me. I ended up leaving and checking another site that had more variety, which was disappointing.

"Warranty support was a letdown"
I had an issue with my item and figured the warranty would help, but dealing with Gearhub was frustrating. I kept getting passed from one person to another, and then they finally told me it wasn’t covered. It’s not even about that at this point, I just felt like they were making it difficult on purpose so I’d give up. I wouldn’t buy from them again.

"Wasted my time and energy"
I brought my bike in for a tune-up and it wasn’t ready when they said it would be, which was already frustrating. Then I got my skis back and the edges still felt rough, so it felt like I went through all that hassle for nothing. I don’t have the energy to chase people down just to get basic service done right. I won’t be going back

"The site said the item was in..."
The site said the item was in stock, so I placed my order thinking everything was fine. Then it got cancelled out of nowhere because apparently it wasn’t available after all. i was so annoyed I could’ve screamed. Such a waste of time and super frustrating

"Return process was such a headache..."
I tried exchanging a jacket for a different size, and honestly... it was way more annoying than it needed to be. Emails took days to get answered, the return instructions weren’t very clear, and I still had to pay to ship it back even though the sizing seemed off in the first place. By the time someone finally got back to me, the size I needed was sold out. I don’t think I’ll order from gearhub.ca again unless they seriously improve their returns...

I’m a little fuzzy on the exact dates now, but I definitely remember waiting around for a delivery that never showed up. I reached out to support a few times, and each time it felt like they just pushed it off a bit longer instead of actually sorting it out. Frustrating, honestly.

"I bought a used item from Gearhub..."
I bought a used item from Gearhub it showed up in way worse shape than the listing made it sound. It was scratched up, dirty, and one part felt loose as soon as I picked it up. I know used gear isn’t going to be perfect, but this felt misleading. What made it more frustrating was having to go through too many steps just to deal with the issue. Between checking the listing again, taking photos, figuring out the return/support process, and waiting for responses, it was way more hassle than it should’ve been. I don’t think I’ll be buying used gear from them again.

"Way too expensive for what it is"
It just felt overpriced to me. Stuff like this always seems to cost more than it should, and in this case I really didn’t feel like I was getting enough value for the money

"Consignment felt weirdly off"
I dropped off some gear for consignment the whole thing felt like more trouble than it was worth. Updates came super slowly, and I had to keep checking in like I was trying to uncover some secret operation in the back room. Then when the payout finally came through, it was lower than I expected, which just made me wonder what was really going on behind the curtain. Maybe other people have had a smoother experience, but mine was frustrating and kind of suspiciously disappointing. I wouldn’t do consignment here again
